SUBJECT: Text of article 7 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) on the rights of the interested party.


Art. 7 – Right to access personal data and other rights


  1. The interested party has the right to receive confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him/her, even if said data has not yet been registered, and for it to be communicated in an intelligible form.
  1. The interested party has the right to be informed of:
    1. where the personal data comes from;
    2. how processing takes place and for what purpose;
    3. the logic applied when said data is processed using electronic tools;
    4. the data identifying controller, those responsible and the representative appointed pursuant to article 5, clause 2;
    5. subjects and subject categories who can be given personal data or gain knowledge of it as the representative appointed in the State territory, of those responsible or appointed.


  1. The interested party has the right to have:
    1. its data updated, rectified and when there is an interest, integrated;
    2. its cancellation, transformation into an anonymous format or blocked if said data should have been processed in violation to the law; including any data that does not have to be kept for the purposes said data was collected or processed for;
    3. a declaration that operations in letters a) and b) have been communicated, also for what concerns their content, to those who had received the data; this as long as said compliance is not impossible or requires use of means that are manifestly disproportionate to the right being protected.


  1. The interested party may object, in full or partially:
    1. to its personal data being processed, if said motive is legitimate, even if pertinent to the collection purpose;
    2. to personal data being processed for him/her to be sent advertising or direct selling material or for market research or commercial communication purposes.

Dear Client,

pursuant to art. 13 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003), we would like to inform you that your personal data will be processed correctly and transparently, for legal purposes and protecting your confidentiality and rights.

The process will also be performed using digital means for the following purposes:

  1. to fulfil the obligation set forth in article of R.D. 773, 18.6.1931 which obliges us to register and notify the Police Headquarters of the general details of clients staying with us;
  2. to fulfil administrative, accounting and fiscal obligations in force;
  3. to receive messages and phones calls for you;
  4. to speed up registration procedures when you next visit our hotel;
  5. to send you our advertising messages and updates on tariffs and offers.

We would also like to inform you that it is obligatory for you to provide us with your details for processing described in points 1 and 2; if you should refuse to do so we will not be able to host you in our hotel.

If you would like us to process your data for points 3, 4 and 5, you will need to consent. However, that consent can be revoked at any time by objecting to processing for those purposes.
